I can't say that I've played this golf course, but I've vacationed here the last few years and it's as relaxing as it gets. If your a golfer and con add that to the mix it can only help. I love Frye Island! Rolley

I am in Frye Island for the week and just love it. The golf course is 9-holes but with 2 sets of tee markers to change it up if you want to go around twice. They have space set aside for another nine eventually.

The course isn't too long and you can really zip around on weekdays. It rewards straight shooters, but beware of the small fairway ponds if it's your first time. The Fairways can offer some tough lies because of the burried granit boulders and the course is heavily tree lined.

I wouldn't exactly come to Frye Island to play golf, but I love to play when I'm here. It's fun to take the kids as it's a little more laid back and the rootbeer floats rock at the leisure lounge 19th hole.

Price is very reasonable - I think the 3-day pass was $ 48 more to rent a golf cart. Pull carts are also available and other than the big hill coming up 9 it's a nice walk.
